The Danfoss thin-bed heating mat 140F0447 (150 W/m², 2.0 m², 0.5 x 4.0 m, self-adhesive) is an electric underfloor heating system designed for installation directly in thin tile adhesives or leveling compounds. With a total output of approx. 300 W over 2 m² (150 W/m²), it provides fast, efficient surface heating and is ideal both as comfort floor heating and, in well-insulated rooms, as the main heating source. Thanks to its low installation height and self-adhesive mesh, the mat can be laid quickly and safely, making it especially suitable for renovation projects and for use in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and other tiled living areas.
The mat consists of a factory-attached heating cable mounted on a fiberglass mesh, with fixed cable spacing to ensure uniform heat distribution and avoid cold spots. The self-adhesive underside simplifies installation: the mat adheres securely to the substrate, preventing slipping during the application of tile adhesive or leveling compounds. The dimensions of 0.5 x 4.0 m allow straightforward planning and optimal coverage of smaller to medium-sized areas; several mats can be combined for larger rooms according to the heating design.
